Welcome to my site, thank you for dropping by.
I am a maker of a lot of things as there is nothing more satisfying than making something, even if it doesn't work out.
Fabric is my first passion. My mum taught me to sew as a teenager and over the years it has been a very useful skill to have.
When I started a family I made a lot of their clothes, which honed my skills further.
As they got older they didn't really like what mum made, so I started then to make clothes for myself.
Work then beckoned and sewing took a backseat.
I then found jewellery making, and for a few years I concentrated on that, selling to colleagues and at craft fairs. I was then made redundant, which allowed me to open my very own bead shop. I was in seventh heaven! This lasted for about three years when austerity kicked in. I eventually closed the shop and returned to my passion of sewing. Retirement has allowed me to dabble in all sorts of crafts, as you will see from my website; from screen printing, to embroidery and a few bits of jewellery.
So I hope you will enjoy the journey with me.
